Assalaamu alaikum!
We would like to welcome our new students and parents to our City of Knowledge family, and our returning community back for the 2023-24 school year! We are excited about the year ahead and look forward to working closely with you to ensure a successful year for your children, inshaAllah.
Please make a note of the following important announcements:
Parent Orientation: Parent orientation will be held on Tuesday, August 15th, at 6 PM via Zoom. The information was sent out to parent groups.
Communications:
Subscribe to our calendar to always have up-to-date information on school events, PTO meetings, etc. at the tip of your fingers!
Whatsapp classroom groups help to keep the day-to-day communication lines between parents and school open. If you are not a member of your child's Whatsapp classroom group, please send an email to operations@cityofknowledge.com with your name, your phone number, and your child/children's names and grade levels.
We will continue to use Gradelink for grades, progress reports, and important school communications. If you do not have a Gradelink account, or are having trouble accessing your account, please let us know.
Volunteering. We would love for parents to be actively involved in the school! Please fill out this form to indicate your availability.
Dress Code. Please be mindful of the school dress code. We expect our parents to ensure their children are coming to school in the proper uniform and adhering to dress code guidelines. We also expect parents to model Islamic dress code for their children, and to wear hijab and appropriate clothing while on campus.
Cell Phone Policy. Parents and students must be mindful of our cell phone and technology policy. All students are expected to adhere to the policy. The policy is zero tolerance, and consequences will apply for those who violate it.
