I remember the first birthday I celebrated with City of Knowledge back in 2003, my students took me to Zubys. We ate a huge delicious pizza and had a huge cookie cake, made especially for me (I think). I will always remember that class as well as that memory:).

Nuclear technology might be the most hotly debated issue in national security, and it seems the two chief sources of late in U.S. politics are Iran and North Korea.

While the fear over nuclear power is the ability to create a bomb, another substantial benefit of nuclear power is the ability to create energy. In the United States, we have several nuclear power plants generating electricity for the entire country!

This issue will likely continue to dominate policies and media for many years to come. What is a fair way to control the use of nuclear technology?

I agree with your final statement about the Chinese economy. But also consider that the Chinese economy is much more state-directed than the U.S. economy. For centuries, economists have believed that a free-market is better for the economy, and such an economic policy has historically been pursued by here in the United States.

So, which type of economy would you prefer, efficiency or independent control?

Very true! I used to have bad acne in High School, but it cleared up by itself as I started drinking more water and learning more about my body and what I put in it.

I love those bike machines! In Montreal I rented a bike from a machine just like this called Bixi and it was so affordable– just a few dollars an hour– and convenient because Bixi stands are found all over town.

President Obama tries to help the economy but the Republicans now want to make like very difficult for him. They are not allowing him to pass good laws in Congress, such as health care for the poor, or lowering taxes for most Americans. Change takes time, and we need to be patient! Great post!
