The fortieth of Imam Hussain is on 20th of the month of Safar every year. On Tuesday, 25th of January 2011 people from all over the world mourned the demise of Imam Hussain (s). As we see, every year millions of people walk on their feet from different cities for days toward Karbala. The purpose of it to be remember the atrocities which were committed against  the household of Prophet Muhammad (s) by the Ummayad rulers and to renew the allegiance to Imam Hussein (s).

Imam Hussain (s)  did not fight for for his benefit. His sacrifice was for the religion, and Muslims. He could have saved himself and the remainder of his family. However,  he sacrifice himself to the religion, and to say the word of the truth in front the tyrant ruler. As he said on his way to Karbala “To live with an oppressor is a crime in itself”.  Muhurram is not just for ten days, and then going back to the our life as usual. It is to learn lessons from it, and changing our life to better.

On this sad a occasion we express our sadness condolences to all the Muslims and the lovers of Ahlul Bayt (s). May Allah also accept our mourning, and may He give us the opportunity for us to do it continuously.
